Hello, I am a Canadian citizen applying for a non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai. I am in CM on a tourist visa 30 day extension that expires on August 26. My cash is currently seasoning in a CM bank, thus the earliest that I can apply for the non-O visa is August 20, then having only 6 days remaining on my tourist visa extension.

I do not know how long it will take to complete the non-O visa process, so I am considering what options would be available to extend my stay here while the process is completed.

Some alternatives we are considering include:

- border bounce for 30 days extension

- apply for 60 day extension for visiting Thai family

Any suggestions or advise to get us through the non-O application period would be much appreciated.

Hi, my non O visa expires on 30 Sept. Have a thai wife and child. Due to covid, business took a hit and as such I did not have the luxury of seasoning 400k for 2 mths. I've read somewhere that requesting for a 1 year extension based on having a Thai child only requires 400k on the day of the application itself, no 2 mth seasoning required. Is this true?
