Do I need to get my one year extension at the same office where I received my 90-day Non-O visa if I'm moving to a different province?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have a 90-day Non-O visa and are planning to move to another province, it's essential to check with the office where you initially obtained your visa and the office in the new province. It's generally advised to secure your one-year extension at the same office where your Non-O visa was issued, as visa processing may not be allowed to take place between different provincial offices.

You might wanna plan that AFTER you get your year extension or you could come off the rails ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

You need to talk to the office where you got the 90 day Non-O issued and/or talk to the office in the province you're going to move to BEFORE you move to see if you have to get it at the office where you got the Non-O visa ๐Ÿ™‚ They are the ones you need to be talking to.

I don't know any offices that will let you get a Non-Imm visa in one province and then get the initial year extension at a different office. ๐Ÿ˜•

that's the best way to do it, (y)

Get the year extension, THEN move, file the change of address (TM28) if you need to, file the notification of foreigner in residence (TM30) and then do your 90 day reporting at that new office.. ๐Ÿ™‚
