 not the way it works while using the monthly income method. There is NO balance requirement. A special bank letter showing all 12 foreign transfers. Immigration, at least most of them, do not want statements but may ask for passbook copies.

It has to be foreign transfers and your second year. After that, you can spend it immediately. Best if you add a little padding like 66K just in case. 64,999 is not acceptable.

 I did the fake 800K, made the 65K deposits and then switched to the 65K no 800K method without issue. The first year was with an agent with the second year by myself.
