TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry seeks an ophthalmologist capable of performing a complete medical eye examination outside of a hospital setting in Jomtien or Pattaya. Responses suggest various local options including numerous opticians and specific recommendations like The Eye Clinic at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, which is noted for reasonable pricing and quality service.

What’s wrong with being in a hospital? I had a medical eye exam & review by an MD ophthalmologist in The Eye Clinic in Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. It was very good & the visit charge very reasonable.

There are not. Opticians can NOT do what a Ophthalmologists can do. If you what your optician doing your eye surgery, go right ahead.
