Hello folks! DTV extensions in Phuket. Who’s tried it, and what was your experience? Based on initial research I’m expecting to meet friction.

But even a single successful extension would give enough confidence to try.

Otherwise I’m just going to mini-vacay in KL.

TIA

P.s. was just admitted to the group today, so my apologies if this was already covered.

Yesterday I did my 90 day reporting online for the first time. Does anyone know how long it typically takes to receive the receipt of notification? As of today, it’s still pending and shows the TM 47 was submitted.

When we enter Thailand with a DTV visa, do we have to present the TM 30 and TM 47 documents? How long do we have to do these? And how do we do it? Does anyone know?

90 day report/tm 47 update

So after going on the immigration website and seeing nowhere that the first application had to be done in person, I took the chance and applied online.

Applied at 11.40 this morning. Received the receipt at 16.09. 🙌🏼🙏🏻

Will do my husband’s on Monday.

Hi all. It’s my first 90 day report. What do I need to take with me? Passport obviously. Anything else? Udon Thani if it makes a difference??

90 day Notification

This post is just for information:

I tried to do my 90 day notification online twice, TM 47 notification of 90 days overstay, but got rejected because I was supposed to go there the first time in person Immigration division 1 @ chaeng Watthana. I took bts, transfer wat pra si matthat to pink line platform 2 towards civic center off at government complex.

**make an appointment in advance (3 weeks)

Because I had to wait over three hours without an appointment.

The process took only about two minutes and they issued a receipt (see pic). Just be careful to do it in time because you could get a fine of 2 to 5000 baht.

I really hope it works next time online so I don’t have to come back just for this.

It would be much much nicer if you didn’t have to go in person the first time but if you do, please make an appointment three weeks in advance because sometimes the appointments aren’t available & you could be there for three hours or more. Also, there aren’t enough seats & bring your own pen because they won’t let you borrow a pen to write the form. I have a Thai marriage visa and still have to do this.

This is my first time using the Notification of staying in The Kingdom (Over 90 days) – TM 47, and as expected, it was not working 🙃

I got the below messages in an email 24 hours after submitting the information online.

Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.

**Incorrect entry date upon entry into the kingdom/ Incorrect visa expiration date.

**

As you can read above, there are two reasons why the online registration was rejected. However, the dates I entered online are correct unless there is something I don't understand.

**Incorrect visa expiration date:

**I used the date stamped in my passport as the date where my NON-IMM Extention of stay is permitted to 8/11-2024

(so that date is correct)

Incorrect entry date upon entry into the kingdom:

As far as I understand, this is the date stamped into my passport on the latest day I arrived in Thailand after being abroad.

In my case, I arrived on 14/12-2023 at BBK Airport.

So the only thing I could've imagined is that I'm not supposed to use the latest arrival date, but instead, another date from the first time I arrived in Thailand or the arrival date before the one-year extension of stay was issued? **

**I know that that would not make sense, but could that be the case?

Has anyone experienced the same problem, or could you let me know what date to use?**
