New one for me. Online 90 day report rejected. Jomtien. Seems to say that leaving and returning the country is treated like the first online and must be in person.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the recent changes in Thailand's immigration policy regarding the 90-day reporting system. Many users have experienced that after re-entering Thailand, the first 90-day report must now be done in person rather than online. This new requirement has raised questions and confusion among expats, with users sharing their experiences and seeking clarification on the updated rules.

Yeah it is. When you are out of the country and reenter again it's considered you need to go to the nearest immigration and do your 90 days report again. I just met mine last month ๐Ÿ‘

I returned to Thailand from a holiday in Turkey on June 1st and the online reporting worked fine. It seems to be the case with this system that it works for some and doesn't for others, at least if the comments and feedback on Thai Twitter are anything to go by.

Power bank for your phone since you will have to wait several hours at immigration (5 hours for a 90 days report 3 weeks ago)โ€ฆ

This is a new policy implemented across Thailand as of a few months ago.

Not correct, when you return you need to do the next 90 days report in person. It's been the same for as long as I know, and I've been here many years.
