TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is relocating from Pattaya to Chiang Mai and needs advice on reporting their TM30 after moving. It is advised to file a TM30 within 24-48 hours of moving into a new apartment. If the user has a 12-month extension for their Non-O visa, they can manage immigration matters directly in Chiang Mai. There are additional considerations for managing bank documents for the extension process, especially if the user has accounts in Pattaya.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
  • Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
  • For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
  • Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.

This might help Chang others and me? If Chang has his bank account in Pattaya where he got the Non O then how does he show the 800,000 and paper work from the bank when it comes to the yearly extension in CM as his bank account is in Pattaya and not in CM? Also If he opens a new bank account in CM then how do you get the 800,000 there without breaking the time it all needs to be in the bank for the extension?

thats good. Did you not have to provide an update / transaction on your bank book on the day of your application for the extension?

not really - any branch can do the paperwork. My Bangkok Bank account is in Pattaya and I went to Bangkok Bank in Udon Thani for the documentation for immi for my extension. Of course no problem

shouldn't make any difference. My bank account (Bangkok Bank) was originally set up in Udon Thani when I was living there. Now live in Nong Khai and the Bank there now supplies all my info for immigration. I have changed my address with the bank. So even though my account is still with Udon bank, they have my Nong Khai address.

This assumes that you have a genuine visa, not something created by an agent. It's not called a visa, it's an extension of stay

tm30 have to be file with 24 or 48 hours of moving into the new place ?

The law states 24 hours. Few immigration offices will enforce that. They just want to see that one is filed.

my mistake 90 days report

a little confusing there. You have to do a TM 30 immediately after you move to CM and the 90 day is fue whenever it is scheduled regardless of moving.

that is not question I ask sorry

@Chang *****
it will be few days before 90 days after you arrive in Thai. They will give you a slip of paper with a new date after you file.

If you have the 12 month extension then you can move to CM and file a TM30 for there.

Once filed you can do further immigration stuff from that office.

If you got your Non-O from Pattaya you may find that you have to go back to Pattaya to get your 12 month extension, ask at Chiang Mai Immigration when you do your TM30.

I just get 12 month last month . I don't wanna live in pattaya anymore so it's busy now I wanna live in CM so

You can get a subsequent extension anywhere as Steve says

if you already have the 12 months extension then you can renew it elsewhere. I got my first one in Pattaya and renewed in Chumphon with an updated TM30
