Maybe you should screen any further posters who try to hide this way.

Possibly their "stories " are true, possibly they have a real reason to hide.

More likely they are scammers trying to sow fear and confusion.

Of course not.

And you do need to do 90 day reports just like any other tourist visa.

And it won’t get you a Thai bank account either.

Yes we are seeing stories about the IO being stricter.

Tell them you have a job back home and come on vacation.

Also have the “3 Proofs" to show.

Ticket home.

Lots of cash.

Hotel reservation.
