Is DTV available up to 5 years depending on our work contract with external company and how much assets? Or depends just on the officer’s mood? 🌈

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa is typically issued for a duration of 5 years, with no variations based on work contracts or personal assets. Each entry on the visa allows for 180 days of stay until the 5-year validity period ends. Extensions beyond this period are not clearly defined, with suggestions that they may offer a 30-day extension.

It’s for 180 days entry each time until the 5 year date ends. I’m not sure how extensions will work .Maybe 30 days?

Extensions are 180 days and one extension per entry. So you could do 360 days consecutively in Thailand.

It is only available as a 5 years visa. You either get it for 5 years or nothing.
