Hey everyone, I’m currently in Hanoi waiting on my DTV (Soft Power – Muay Thai) to be approved. I submitted all my documents and paid the fee on June 4th, and as of June 6th, the application is marked as pending approval.
I know things likely slowed down because of the public holidays and a backlog, but it still feels like it’s taking a while. I’m aware the embassy doesn’t respond to emails, but has anyone had any luck going there in person to check on the status or get an idea of how much longer it might take?
Hanoi’s been great, but I’m more than ready to get back to Thailand. Appreciate any advice—thanks in advance!

Hello, Im planning on traveling to Chiang Mai in September and looking for advice for a retirement Visa. I have a monthly pension from DFAS and draw disability benefits from the VA. Are there any US veterans that can share some advice?
