I just got all my documents uploaded online today applying for the 60 day tourist visa. Fingers crossed. So much simpler before covid. For the extra 30 days they really make you jump through some hoops

Thanks. My previous extensions in CM were 60 days. As typical, the government will wait until the last minute to make a decision.

If you’re dead set on coming in August, your best bet would be educational Visa muay Thaii visa or volunteer Visa

It appears-your experience has been very different from mine. I have had multiple extensions and I go in and apply about two days before the end of my Current extension. They keep my passport for two weeks here in Chiang Mai and then I go pick it up. The stamp Put in my passport is the day I applied for the extension, not when I picked it up.
