I thought the embassy here and so Korea finally have their act together. Yesterday I took all my documents to my appointment, fit to fly certificate, lab results said in English RTPCR test negative, and medical certificate in English and included the doctors hand written English note that my test was negative. I was giving my visa andCOE. The following day, today, on my way to the airport, and I get an email from the embassy telling me I’ve got to go to another site to get the lab test printed entirely in English, even though the result says it’s negative in English. I don’t know what’s going to happen.
Either the advice I took from a fellow traveler on this form was ill informed about where to go to get my Covid test was wrong, or the embassy is changing their rules.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user recounts their experience preparing to travel to Thailand, having gathered the necessary documents including a fit-to-fly certificate and a negative RT-PCR test result. However, they received an email from the embassy requesting that the lab test results be printed entirely in English, causing confusion about the shifting rules and the adequacy of advice from fellow travelers. Several comments share similar experiences, highlight the importance of obtaining reliable information, and reinforce the significance of having the right documentation.
usually I don’t, but I got the go ahead on November 12 I had to get everything together and done for my appointment at the embassy on the 13th to get my COE
NEVER get advice from fellow travelers alone, we’re all morons! Good job btw on getting all your documents. I just went through a similar process from Busan to Taipei. Then shorty here after back to Thailand. Luckily I have an agent who is knowledgeable about current travel restrictions and acquiring proper documents. Hope all works out for you as your documents are valid for only 72 hours pre-flight, but again, don’t listen to me, I’m an idiot.
