Does anyone have any (semi) reliable information on the status of obtaining Covid 19 extensions on their tourist visa?

Many offices will require you to get the regular 30 day extension before applying for a Covid extension. At this time the covid extension is set to end on November 26th. No one knows if that date will be extended.
