What is the current status of obtaining Covid-19 extensions on tourist visas in Thailand?
Hi,
Does anyone have any (semi) reliable information on the status of obtaining Covid 19 extensions on their tourist visa?
Does anyone have any (semi) reliable information on the status of obtaining Covid 19 extensions on their tourist visa?
Answer summary
Inquiries about the reliability of obtaining Covid-19 extensions for tourist visas have surfaced, with indications that applicants may first need to secure a standard 30-day extension before applying for the Covid extension, which is currently scheduled to end on November 26th. The future of the extension beyond that date remains uncertain.

Many offices will require you to get the regular 30 day extension before applying for a Covid extension. At this time the covid extension is set to end on November 26th. No one knows if that date will be extended.

OPThanks. My previous extensions in CM were 60 days. As typical, the government will wait until the last minute to make a decision.
