First and only time I flew to BKK with KLM it took 36 Hours and included an excursion via Chengdu/ China, due to issues with the aircraft on the Manchester to Amsterdam leg.. My Bag was missing on arrival at Swampy as well, got it the following day.

Better with Singapore Airlines

I just arrived in BKK on KLM. A bit of confusion in Schiphol getting all the Covid related paperwork checked but apart from that the flight was fine. Staff very friendly, good service, food OK (certainly had better) and hardly any passengers so plenty of room to relax.

Bring a pizza.

If it flys these days, it’s good.

I'd go with a middle eastern or Asian Carrier way before I flew KLM. I'd also fly Lufthansa and Finnair over KLM if forced to use a Euro carrier.

If you get on a flight and arrive at your destination it's a good flight 🙂

I would say KLM is a very good airline, and AMS is a topnotch connecting airport!

Emirates are the best I've used.. tried most...last time tried Thai airways... Direct... honestly WASNT a good exp..next time Emirates... Only slight drag.. is the change over gate at Dubai.. couldn't be further away.. but hey small detail for decent food always hapi and helpful service... Another thing to make sure is both 'legs' you are flying in airbus's they ARE a step up from the older planes.. if only for the slightly more leg room and Aircon is MUCH better..

It is a good airline, good offer, flexible ticket but can't compare to qatar or emirates,, my fiance came 2days ago and flight was empty. I like Schiphol Airport.

Qatar IS Very Good but as far as getting from London to Bangkok goes, Cathay Pacific is ALSO a superb airline and even in Economy you'll be given First Class-treatment! :-)

no, as you have to pay extra for check-in luggage (extra £60-£80), only cabin luggage free. If your flying from Heathrow, then Qatar, Etihad, Emirates and Air France. If you can get Thai Airways is the best option, as flights can be changed in their office in Pattaya. If you are based in East or Central London, try London City Airport, where Swiss Air is available but remember to add check-in luggage if required (it's cheaper then paying at the airport). Also, British Airways is also direct but add check-in luggage when booking.

They're good but if they cancel your flight because of vivid, its impossible to get a refund. After many many emails to them I finally had to accept a voucher from them, a year to the day later they issued me a refund👌

KLM food just terrible, stingy airline. Check my photo of the breakfast Gothenburg to Amsterdam🤑 Hardly get a second beer, small can.

They are notorious for losing luggage. You can look it up. It happened to me the one time I flew with them. Took weeks to get it back (after going public on social media). They did not have enough space on the short leg flight from Madrid to Amsterdam, so they forced people to check in their carry-ons AT THE GATE. I had very valuable items in it and they lost it.

When I got it back the bag was badly damaged. The contents at least were all there and intact. I was compensated fairly for the bag, but it was very stressful dealing with them and had I not embarrassed them on social media I don't think I would have gotten it back.

For that one reason, and the history I found when doing research on them afterward, I do not recommend this airline. Food and quality of aircraft, the usual stuff was ok, but they were horrible about getting the bag back and they should never have forced people right at the gate while stepping onto the bridge, last second to check in their carry-ons!

The same happened to others on my flight also.

KLM and Air France is probably the worst you can book, but also the cheapest.

I flew a lot with KLM back and forward to Thailand every 2 weeks , but then I tried Emirates and I would never go back to KLM. Service , seats, food and planes are better , anyway that's just my opinion

KLM are fine I flew back with them in April but the middle Eastern airlines like Qatar Etihad and Emirates are better if they're charging similar prices to KLM
