Thank you for accepting me to the group. I am leaning a lot already.

Can you recommend a group about owning land in LOS? I understand it’s complicated and requires a Thai partner….

Aspiring lawyers; Thailand is a signatory of the Hague convention, therefore, would a prenuptial agreement drafted in Australia, be recognised under Thai law following our wedding in Thailand?

On a separate note: I had some trouble finding solicitors in the UK willing to certify copies of my documents for my visa application, and there seems to be some confusion here. The Thai Embassy Website states that copies must be certified by a Public Notary Officer or solicitor. My understanding is that this does not mean that the documents need to be certified by a PNO, merely by a solicitor, and the copies that I submitted which were certified by a solicitor were accepted. Therefore my advice would be to advise prospective solicitors that documents need to be certified, not notarised, and thus an official Public Notary Officer is not required.
