BKK is 1,568.7 square kilometres in size. So a mob of people in 1 or 2 streets certainly wouldn't make me avoid BKK.. Although it might be smart to know where it's all going on and avoid those few streets. This sort of things happens here once every few years.. The government will allow these students some freedom of speech. And some room to let off some steam. And then when the government has had enough of it, they will go in heavy handed and put an end to it all very quickly. .

They said that Chinese tourists were going to be arriving a few weeks ago. But it never happened, because although Thailand prepared themselves for it. No Chinese actually booked any flights. I suspect, the same is happening now with this story. No one is coming here.

Non 'O' visas based on retirement.. Are not yet allowed to enter the country.

They are trying to make sure you're not buying different fingers. :-)

You and him both need to have non immigrants 'B' visa .. Then you can apply for a work permit. When you arrive here in Thailand.
