"Hello everyone, I am from Hong Kong and planning to apply for the DTV Soft Power visa. Since I intend to bring my family with me, I have a few questions I’d like to clarify.

First, do I need to successfully obtain my visa before I can assist my family with their applications?

Based on your experience, does the Thai government require applicants to submit a Criminal Record Check (CNCC)? I’ve noticed that some people do not apply at the Thai consulate in their home country—for example, some individuals from Western countries apply at the Thai consulate in Vietnam. How do they handle the criminal record check requirement in those cases?

I am from UK, and some say I may need a police DBS criminal record clearance for certain visas , I have a physical copy of my UK DBS from 2019 , which Is obviously all clean, but after 2019 , I registered my DBS on the online update service ,so you pay a yearly fee for it to be online for ever if you wish to do so, this is so any employer or who ever needs it can access it online , so no print out Is required no more , they are doing away with paper work as digital is the future, so my question is do I just give thailand my permission to view the DBS through the UK goverments online system. Just wondering if Thailand are this up to date yet ? And if not what have I got to do, I can't go to DBS criminal check people and say I need a new certificate as I can't see them issuing it, there is no point to issue me one they will think it's very odd and this may raise concerns like I am trying to get duplicate copies to forge or something ?

Criminal Record Check requirements for non immigrant O-A visa.

My question is what is required by the Thai Consulate in US to verify no criminal history. I have a letter from my state's DOJ saying 'my fingerprints did not identify any criminal history record maintained by this Bureau.' It then goes on to say that 'the response does not constitute a certified letter and cannot be used for an apostille.' Do I need a certified letter from the California DOJ to be sent to the Secretary of State's office to affix an apostille? Or will the letter that I have suffice?

When apply and enroll to a Thai language school for Ed visa there’s a box to cross for if you have a criminal record. Is that really a requirement? And do they check that with your home country?

Looking at the OA visa,applying from the UK. I have a question about the 'certificate of criminal record clearance '. I can get a DBS check that costs £21.50, or an ACRO certificate which costs £68. Is the DBS sufficient or do I need to go all in with the ACRO?

looking through the piles of paperwork you need now to get a visa a letter from the police about your criminal record has just appeared, went to the police station and asked reception and she said don't know anything about that, more hurdles the climb, lol

for 5, my primary doctor or any doctor can sign it or must be some doctors appointed?

1. need my current medical insurance company UMR to sign it? how about if my insurance company is not on the list of Thai government?

2. my current UMR insurance in America?

I'm due to renew my 1year visa and have lost my TM 30 . Please advise what to do? Do they even need it?
