TLDR : Answer Summary
You cannot extend your 30-day visa exempt entry stamp for just two weeks; however, you can apply for a full 30-day extension at a local immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

You are here on what's called a free 30 day visa exempt entry stamp. <- meaning you showed up without having bought a visa from the thai consulate before you came here but were stamped in free for 30 days because of your nationality.

Nope, you can't get a 2 week extension BUT you can apply for a 30 day extension for 1900baht at the immigration office that serves the area where you stay. ๐Ÿ™‚

thanks Tod.... I wasn't sure whether they were still doing the covid extensions or not.. and it's been a long time since I was last here without a visa. . Thai airways didn't bat an eye lid btw, with me not having a return ticket.

they still are doing covid extensions (that runs until the 25th of July) BUT you have to take your regular 30 day extension before you can apply for one.

Thanks for that, I only need an extra two weeks anyway.
