If your applying in Jomtien you haven’t enough time as they require 2 months seasoning for the initial non-o so you would have to do a border bounce and even that is becoming a problem now ,Cambodian borders are closed so fly somewhere for a few days return and after your money has been in your Thai bank for two full months apply if it’s another office just go apply

@Graham *****
there’s only a couple offices that require the money seasoned for the non-o but it’s still the way to go before you arrive in Thailand

@Matthew ********
they will never not refund your money unless it shady and that won’t come from the bank

Leave and apply for the non-o in another country it’s probably the only way you’ll get a bank account opened in these times then get you 800k in there 2 full months before you apply for your one year extension,you’ve done an exempt with a extension so if you just bounce prepare to be pulled aside and grilled possibly getting denied entry there getting tough now

yes but to change from the OA to a non-o he’ll need to leave and either apply out of the country but he’ll need the 800k to extend it hopefully he’ll have saved enough
