Went to Jontiem immigration and they transferred the stamp. They wanted letter from embassy but big boss said no and did the transfer and I think I collected it next day
I done this with mine in Pattaya. Be careful they might ask for a letter from your embassy but that’s a load of bull. The lady demanding the letter was one of the women who looked like she worked their part time so when the conversation was getting louder one of the official officers came over and told her no. Talk about loss of face. I told her what’s the difference I came in on new passport
She worked in a restaurant and had a letter from her boss but she never paid tax and proof of income was money from sponsor and I believe she had to have something like 60,000 baht in her bank
3 years ago it took a month and depends on circumstances as it’s easier if she has family here ie siblings to come back to also her owning land here helps
