I really think so! And those fees are a big ask for many of these people. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

thanks so much for that feedback. Encouraging. πŸ‘

I'm convinced the tourist visa process is a cash collector. I've seen a few examples where people were quite prepared and the interviewer didn't bother to review documents or any details, as though the interview was only an exercise to deliver the pre-decided denial.

Working on a K-1 now.

What I said and my experiences were absolutely consistent with the rules making what you expressed a bit questionable in accuracy or associated details. πŸ‘Œ

I've crossed the Laos border three times in two different locations. Nong Khai and Chiang Khong. I paid 1900 baht at each location separated by over a two year time period. I always got change! This account seems to be missing a little reality, truth or comprehension. 🀷

would be cool but rules is rules. πŸ™„

I understand not taking away income from locals but shesh, playing for free? πŸ™

Yeah, it was a disappointment when I realized I couldn't even gig for free on my visa. A lot of local musicians gig here and much more live music on average than in the states.

yep, never fed that monster! If you need, just go to a clinic. The medical certificate must state that the applicant does not have leprosy, tuberculosis, drug addiction, elephantiasis, or syphilis in its tertiary stage.

Any doctor is going to bust a nut laughing at these requirements. Laugh with them and just get it done.
