being a green card holder or more in association to becoming recognized doe not require a residency, only an address to send paperwork and in addition your problem of getting her there for any reason using any method will not be any faster.
None of my business but it seems not already having done some of these things (as it’s to her and your benefit) is a little odd because why wouldn’t you? You can up your social security benefit (assuming you have) and facilitate more opportunity. Again, well aware it’s none of my business. 👌
The spirit of the tm30 is between the property owner and Thailand. Anyone staying less than 90 days I believe don’t need to concern themselves. But be respectful of the property owner attempting to do what is required of them. Some don’t. 😉
Related, I've seen many things (like pgtips) and then they're gone! Maybe they'll be back, hard to say? So my suggestion would be if you do locate anything you want to make sure you have....buy surplus inventory. Teabags will keep a long time, so stock up.
The interesting part is when you eventually realize something you assumed would be available to later discover it is not....been there, done that! 🤣
said this before, the OA insurance is not expensive, especially compared to the amount of money I made as interest vs sitting in a Thai bank account. The additional interest (offsetting the insurance costs) paid my rent for close to 6 months.
okay. So it sounds like tax records/filings maybe all you have to offer?
They create criteria that totally misses some situations. Great example. DTV is sort of a focus on freelancers, but most freelancers don’t have an employer. 🤷♂️
It sounds like you really need to speak with someone at the embassy to clarify what will satisfy the criteria?
