My husband and I have started the visa process. It seems fairly straightforward, although I'll probably have more questions as we move through the process.
Is it worth it to hire an agent to do some leg work and/or review the required documentation? If so, what's the average cost?
We'll be staying in Krabi when we come back from tidying up our affairs here. So if we need to meet up with an agent hopefully they're near Krabi.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether to hire a visa agent for navigating the visa application process for Thailand. Users suggest that handling it independently may be preferable, citing potential issues with agents and expressing confidence in the simplicity of the process. There's also a mention of considering the type of visa being applied for and the possibility of obtaining visas prior to returning to Thailand.
To answer the agent question. I’m unaware of any that work like that and I for one would suggest avoiding them if you can. It’s really not that hard. 🤗
well, there are several agencies that do this. Some have commented in Thai forums that agents have helped in the past with visas. Just wondering if it's normal practice to use an agency is all.
