There's many farangs working here illegally and none ever seem to get caught. They even gloat about it, and also Piss me off,as those who are wanting to do the right thing feel like doing it themselves in the end. I have a Son in this position whom I taught to do the right things here,and in general.

I hear of many saying they forgot. Too many people do it as though it's a joke. Be responsible and keep within the rules,as not doing so also inadvertently affects others.

Why on earth would she bother with a visa exempt and then needing to go to the immigration and pay 1900 thb and wait?

That doesn't mean it's a fact, as immigration can refuse whomever they want too.

I lost my BKK bank visa debit card and my branch told me the bank no longer issues them and sold me the Union one. Basically useless. Called head office and was told my branch was wrong, and now have a new visa debit card. Don't take the Union card.

He was of no help whatsoever to myself in getting a NON O based on retirement. Even after reading my Embassy confirmed paper work, but said that he'd try for the equivalent of 1500 thb. I went to the Thai Consulate next day,and without any problems,only help,picked up my passport all done,following day,total cost minus taxis was 300 ringgit.

I must be too old to understand what a Tourist Visa is,or what you're not allowed to work on this visa means,and I guess also why they have W.Permits. sorry guys.
