There was a post on aseannow forum from an individual who did obtain a same-sex marriage visa. Maybe post on there and see how it worked. Good luck!

Go to your school and get a graduation letter. Take that to your local immigration office and get your education visa finished. Then exit the country and do your DTV

Great information thank you. I also have an extensive history with ED Visas, so you have relaxed my mind a little reading this as I have plans to apply for a DTV Visa in the next few months.

Extra effort. I will just pay sitting on my sofa 🙂

No, that's not the case at all. Your lease will have a copy of the owners ID, and that's the only requirement from the owner, although most leases also contain a copy of the property book which might be required also, I am not sure.

Either way, 3 different rentals I have done it myself. No problems quick and easy. I do it the morning after moving to avoid being fined. I believe it has to be done within 48 hours in Chon Buri. Other provinces I am not sure.

How would you pay electricity bills? It would be impossible I think without a Thai bank.

Fair enough. I don't carry cash at all. I Prompt Pay everything, or True Money. I pay my utility bills through my bank app from the comfort of my sofa. Everything is easy. I have wise also. I use wise to move money into my Thai bank account.
