TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen can theoretically obtain multiple 90-day Tourist Visas (comprising 60 days plus a 30-day extension) in a year, with no official limit. However, applying for back-to-back visas at Thai consulates or embassies may lead to warnings or restrictions on future applications if done excessively. Typically, it’s suggested that only two tourist visas might be issued in a single year.

As many as you want if your getting them from the uk each time... or 2 from a neighburing country to thailand
Paul *******
2 has been the limit for a while now .. from discussions previously had here.. i thought that was common knowledge.. have things changed then.. ???

I have had 2 setvs from hanoi and 1 from hcmc, alternating, in the last 10 months. Never even a question.
Robert *******
@Paul ******
, there is NO limit of two at neighbor country

I dunno where you came up with 2 from a neighboring country
@Pa**
, because each consulate sets a limit of how many tourist visas you can get from them before they warning stamp you

There is no official limit in how many Tourist Visa's you can have. But when applying back to back tourist visa's at the Consulates or Embassies in the neighbor countries they can put a warning stamp next to the visa. An example of this warning:

Yes, but an Embassy or Consulate can still put the stamp in if they think you have to many used TV in your passport.

In theory does it look better if one changes embassies almost every time?

I read two. Only 6 months in Thailand a year on tourist visa.
Sam *****
Yes they can. But if you stick to the rules they have no reason to and wont.

@Sam ****
.

That doesn't mean it's a fact, as immigration can refuse whomever they want too.

As of yesterday entering on a SETV i will be here 1 year on exemptions and setv. Never even a question. I am not working and always have proof of funds.

Ok, I don't argue, I just say what I grad on the thai embassy in norway web page.

Only legal limit is the two entry per calendar year via land border.

Ok.

It is wrong. Plain and simple.
Haldis **********
Ok. I read it on the thai embassy in Norway web page about three months ago.
Duncan *******
It's an old rule, honest. There's no limit on tourist visas, there is a limit of 2 visa exempt entries per year at a land border, came in beginning of the year.
Haldis **********
This was just about three months ago.
Duncan *******
no, not for over a decade.
Nick *******
As many as you want I should think
