ORIGINAL POSTERI've just submitted my application for the DTV into the Thai Embassy in Canberra and was surprised to find the 10,000 THB fee charged as A$600 which at the current exchange rate is 12,600 THB! I have THB to pay with but the system only accepts A$.

I got my DTV there, the difference is the processing fee (coffee money🤣) but I found applying in Aus was extremely easy and no silly questions. Except the wanted proof I was in Australia and wanted a copy of my drivers license, not sure how that proved I was in Aus🤣

The WORST one in the world is the Thai Consulate in Wellington New Zealand which is the most expensive thai consulate on the planet
