I would suggest a retirement Visa. Any visa that requires an outside source such as an employer or spouse can potentially be problematic in the future. There's no reason that getting a Visa that is only reliant on you should be a problem.... Just keep up with your reporting.

This is an accurate at at all. I wasn't saying this as a disparaging or negative thing necessarily. It's just different .The Philippines comparatively to the states or the West is not a first-world country. As men who want to do the right thing and want to start a family we can't be obtuse to this idea .
The Philippines have bubbles of prosperity like BGC Makati and Manila But it is largely a third world and/or developing country .
With that being said the idea of finding someone who would be appreciative of what I could bring to the table is extremely high which is a good thing.

filipina would spare you the car and the dowry . even the house for a while , but you will be locked in supporting the entire family including grandparents, nephews , aunts , uncles . I think the Filipino culture is far more brutal in that regard.  From my experience if you don’t send their family money in the Philippines they will threaten their daughter daily. I would say the Filipino culture is far more out of touch with reality than the Thai culture with regard to money trees in the backyard.Reply to
