MAE SAI to Chiang Rai , direct , by road ,is around 70 some Km , depending on how much beer you drunk , and the way you negotiate the curves
Chiang Rai to Chang kong is roughly 100 km , also depending how you drive in the curves , and they are many , either way : along the MEKONG river , or across the country side where you might get lost !!! so that adds up to 88km for you . stop drinking or take some math classes from a country where 2+2=4 , before asserting what you don't
of course everybody who is wandering if Mae Sai border is gonna be opened to morrow knows Mai Morris . and they know that he crossed to Tachilek A FEW WEEKS AGO !!!!!
but then why did you told a guy the day before I posted , that if Mae Sot is closed he should try Mae Sai , and if Mae Sai is closed he can always cross all the north east of Thailand to go to Chiang Kong , and cross to Laos
