Two part-time teaching jobs - I know it's possible to work at two schools part-time under one work permit, with both schools indicated on the work permit.

How does one go about doing this? Does anyone have experience?

If my husband takes a teaching job and gets the business visa, I would be able to get the spousal visa correct? Would that prohibit me from my remote job w a business in the US?

Hi! I’ve been offered a teaching job at a school in Chiang Mai, just waiting on the contract. I have a teaching diploma from my native South Africa but no degree (teaching or otherwise). Will I be able to get a work visa for this teaching post - only based on diploma and many years teaching experience? I’m noticing teaching jobs that are part time do not provide work permits. I have been assured by a prospective employer, immigration doesn’t want to bother with the odd English teacher working without the right permit. I’m here on a non-o visa through marriage. How much trouble could one get into working without a work permit?

I've once heard that there is a law that says that foreigners working for a Thai company have to be paid not less than 45k baht. Is that actually true and is that law enforced in any way? Not saying that i would work for any less than that, just like to know. TIA

Is it possible to change from a covid extension to B visa??

I am currently on non-o visa (spouse of a foreigner with work permit) and I have been offered a teaching job starting in August.

Apparently not possible to change visas directly at Chonburi. So I’m wondering if cancelling my current visa and getting covid extension would be worth a try? Trying to avoid needing to go back to UK if there is any possibility of sorting out the visa change in Thailand..

Hi. I and my friend have applied for a teaching job in Thailand. My friend who is currently in Thailand with the Amnesty told me that the school could not change the visa to non-b inside the country after contacting the immigration and was suggested to go to Laos. Anyone have the same experience with this? I have already checked the info from the website of the Embassy in Laos' capital and found the announcement about the still-closure border until the end of August, but I'm not sure if the border is opened for regular persons just to apply the Thai visa during this covid time.
