Can anyone offer any advice for the SETV. I’ve spent a lot of time in Thailand this year on tourist visas and extensions so I’m

Worried that they won’t let me in without a proper visa which is fine. If I apply for the SETV but my flight out of Thailand is in 30-40 days after arriving will it be rejected? 🤔 I will have been out of Thailand for three months before I return

TLDR : Answer Summary
This discussion revolves around the Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) for Thailand. It addresses concerns about entry after extensive stays on tourist visas, specifically focusing on whether a flight out of Thailand scheduled 30-40 days after arrival would pose a problem for SETV approval. Community members reassure that having a flight within the visa's validity period, which allows 60 days, is acceptable. Additionally, it's advised to carry sufficient cash (20,000 baht) and evidence of accommodation.

A new passport does not mean anything as all your visits to Thailand is in their system.

because I can’t afford to get turned around back to England. I’m going to Thailand to bring home my two animals I’ve decided so I’ll have about £2000 worth of bookings for that so I’d rather be sure

Flights for 30-40 days is fine because the visa is for 60days

SETV gives you 60 days in Thailand so being able to show a flight out before that is fine.

And if you're worried about having spent too much time in Thailand you should also have 20,000 baht or equivalent in another major currency IN CASH ONLY on you, as well as at least a week hotel reservation.

ok thanks I was just worried if they saw 30 days they’d day you don’t need this visa just use the tourist visa. Yes I’ll have baht on me 👏🏻 I’ll have a new passport and I have only spent 4 months there this year so it’s not too bad but I was there a lot last year Aswell so best to get a visa.
