Personally I feel the drivers here have more skill and respect for each other as whole, less road rage and yes the occasional idiot who never passed any kind of basic theory. But the worst driving is done by my fellow farangs !

Hey I did this for nearly a year with four extensions and trips in an out. Only takes one over zealous immigration officer and I was allowed in but told in no certain terms get the right visa if I plan to live in Thailand! Technically I work in Singapore and have residence status there,

I did that for around a year, 45 day visa exempt extend for 30 days, border run by air for repeat cycle. worked great until two weeks ago when I was stopped on my way back through SG after being away 4 days. Was let in after checking I had an outbound flight booked ironically 3days later and usual questions. Essentially told to get a visa next time if I want to stay a long time even it’s a tourist visa. Applying for LTR visa now.

Don’t like to worry anyone but this year I have had 3 extensions and border bounced by air the remainder and have essentially livedThailand since April 2022.Last week when I came in from a week in SG at BKK I was stopped and challenged by the officer and supervisor allowed in as I had a flight to Europe for 4 days later by luck. Supervisor told me directly get the right visa marriage, LTR even tourist but don’t rely on this approach

I wouldn’t know but I see tourists without the right insurance licenses and protective gear everyday both locals and foreign being stopped
