No. But go to many, bring your paperwork and a Thai lady to help translate and she can look like your Thai lady! It works. You can get one on a tourist visa, but it's against the rules. My friends have done it.

If you have a monthly income 65,000 baht or more. Ask your embassy for the requirements for them to make a letter stating your income. Job done! All this 800k talk...🤭🤭🤭

I have same issue with this 45 year old rule. Were like dogs on a chain. Thailand is loosing people to other countries due to their sometimes difficult rules towards their number one source of income...farang!

Is said it's the owners responsibility. The owner can be fined this is why it is put on the owner. It's both parties responsibility.

Siam are top class! You did well speaking with them. It's a big headache here at 45. I found out the hard way by just flying in 5 years ago. The amount if runs into Laos, Malaysia, Mental and leaving for a while.. Running around like a dog..no peace if mind. Seriously.

I would consider the newly named " Thai Elite.... Blah blah visa @ a whopping 900,000 baht for 5 years.
