 ahh yea good point i was thinking from neighboring countries... my bad We flat out dont support applications in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. They behave you are applying for the job as ambassador lol

Its just Vietnam that asks for this as far as we can see. They will usually have a further information request asking you to demonstrate how you will support yourself financially. A cover letter explaining your financial circumstances is usually accepted though.

Does the location in Vietnam affect the application process for the DTV Visa for Muay Thai training?

We have done about 100 in Vietnam, both embassys seem to have the same policy's and timeliness. They are not difficult embassys to deal with and if they request further documents its usually reasonable and achievable.

Why do applicants with a solid travel history seem to get DTV visa approvals faster in Thailand?

One of my applicants had long and bad passport history. No real overstay but warned multiple times at the border.

When he went for DTV the HCM embassy told him " good, the DTV is for people like you"
