Hi everyone, I am not sure if this question has been asked before, let me know if someone answered it already. 

Would the location of your Muay Thai/ Thai cooking class be a factor in the soft power application? Would it matter if I signed up for Arun Thai or some well known program from Bangkok but intend to live in Chiang Mai? Or would it be safest to find course offerings in my vincinity. Both your address of where you will be living in Thailand should match where you are going to participate in the soft power activity you are submitting with your DTV visa application. Doing otherwise is going to be a PROBLEM for you.

On the application, they ask for the address you intend to stay in thailand. If it is in a different city than your course, I would imagine that would raise questions. Approvals for the dtv isnt as easy as it used to be a year ago, so I would caution to do things as accurately as possible

Make sure your address registration for your residence in the Pattaya area matches the location of the soft power activity you have signed up for and actively participate in its course of activity. If you are not serious about actively participating in the soft power activity you submit with your DTV visa application, forget about getting the DTV visa.
