On the Official Thai e visa site just click tourist visa then multiple entry. It costs around £150.

You can get an METV ( multiple entry tourist visa) from your home country,gives you a max of 9 months in Thailand( but you'll have to hop over the border every 90 days ) You can check out the country,travel around,see if its for you without making the big commitment of a Non O. Just apply online. Hope this helps.

Crossing from Ranong at the pier. I think Myanmar entry is Kawthaung. I lived in Khao Lak so that was nearest border crossing for me. I had multi entry non O. Everytime Myanmar Immigration at the pier charge 10 US dollars, it was like that for years. Maybe they have changed now.

With an METV The fee was never 1900, did it many times before covid. Around 100 baht per person for the boat ride,, $ 10 at Mynamar immigration.Job done. No fees checking in or out of Thailand. Unless youre being forced to use an agent there is no reason for those fees.
