I was recently quoted 26,000 if I didn't have the 800,000 to set-up the retirement visa and extension (15 months). From what I under the price goes down significantly to renew the visa.
I HATE the pattaya immigration office but I think I am going to try to do my own and forego the agent... I will let you know in a few months.

that’s maybe an extension. First you get 3 month NON O retirement + 12 month extension. After only extension. Government fee for multi reentry stamp is 3,800 baht if you go do yourself.

I’m not sure if you’re being deliberately obtuse or you just can’t help it.Have you actually read the original question? If you arrive with tourist visa, or on Visa Exempt, have no bank account, do not have 800k and use an agent for everything - converting to Non O, first annual Extension including a multiple Reentry permit, then around 30k is a pretty standard price. Some agents charge more.

you need to go to your immigration office and ask for their handout to convert to non-O visa. Each immigration office has their own requirements so the only way to know what you need is to go to your office and ask.Reply to
