Can anyone advise.Wanting to come on a 30- 60 day Visa free visit from Australia. Can I exit Thailand eg fly to Germany for a week and then return and stay for the remaining period that is stamped in my passport or am I better off to apply for a Visa if wanting to do this?

Good day all. Looking for some constructive advise, assistance / referral. In 2025, I visited Thailand a number of times using it as my base whilst conducting mainly business visits in Asia. I visited eight times and stayed over 120 days. Now that the rules have changed, due to the accrued time from last year, I don’t think I have any chance of getting a standard Visa. As I don’t know what my movements will be in the next 6 to 12 months, I want to get myself a six or 12 month Visa, but I don’t have the required amounts of funds sat in my bank account for the time period that either the six or 12 month Visa requires.

I’ve seen people post that they have been able to secure the six or 12 month Visa using a company that puts the money into your account for a period of time whilst the Visa process is completed. Is this actually a thing?

If so, I’m interested to find out more and be introduced to an established and trustworthy business/ agent that can take care of this.

I crossed into lao ,and right back 2 days ago

No visa ,no online arrival application .

No problem.at all .

20 baht ,10 min they did the online arrival it would not let me do it as it only accepts bus. Plane ,train...ride,only accepted address in lao.

As I ride my motorbike from.chanthaburi to.nong kai and did not want to stay I had none of that .

Easy ,efficient,not complicated

I am.on.METV. which I do.every year to avoid hassles.

They can, and do ,change the rules.

I also always have a onward ticket.and 20000.bHt ,always!

It seems quite simple to.me to just follow there rules .

Any one of us tourists experienced any denial of entry when arriving from Phom Penh by air. South Africa passport and this will be my 4 th entry in 12 months , but only ever stayed between 10 and 20 days

Not sure if a METV would help .....

I just apply for a METV-multiple entry visa. There is only one upload for the flight leaving the country. Is it the flight (Saigon for me) within the 2 month first stay or the last trip back to my homecountry after 5 and 1/2 month?

It's the embassy in Vienna, it is difficult to ask per phone.

Just to clarify one situation to assess my situation if need dtv or not yet..

Scenario:

1-)10 April entry, 20 april exit.

2-)27 April entry, 01 june exit.

3-) 15 June entry, 10 July exit.

Each entry probably one or two month visa exemption stamp will be put on passport however i will not use all days assigned to me. I will stay as a tourist but time to time need do dubai or europe for business.

Myself and my partner would like to travel through Thailand from Australia for a period of 180 days. We are trying to find out which is the correct visa. Also what the circumstances are surrounding the visa. IE: do we have to have return airfares booked? Do we have to exit and re enter Thailand, how many times? Cost of visa ?
