Yes, those are the typical costs. The most expensive part of the process is converting from a Tourist or Exempt entry to a Non-O visa.

Here is a breakdown of our fees:

- Initial Non-O Visa: ฿23,000

- Yearly Extensions: ฿14,000

- Bank Account Setup: ~฿13,000 ( already includes insurance package )

= ~฿50,000

We provide all services nationwide, except for the bank account opening. For that, our team needs to accompany you in Bangkok.

We explain the process because some members in this group may not yet be in Thailand, and it helps them see how they could save on service fees for opening a bank account and obtaining their initial Non-O visa.

You may find lower fees in Pattaya, but many providers there do not offer fully remote services like we do. Our service can be especially helpful if you are traveling around Thailand or prefer not to stay in Pattaya. We also support you via our

support lines, and have been in service for 15+ years.

Just make sure the agency you choose has a proven history. Using an agent requires a lot of trust, and unfortunately, we have helped many clients who were scammed by unreliable agents, leading to serious overstays.

It can also happen that an agent quotes one price at the start, then tries to change it in the middle of the process. Make sure the agency you work with has no history of doing that.

We can obtain one for you within thailand but as mentioned the cost would have been cheaper if you applied outside of thailand.

You can send our team a message if you need assistance with this process.

This group is more than capable of answering that question.

The funds must be seasoned in your account. If the money was just recently deposited and you do not have multiple months of bank statements showing it, your application will likely be denied.

They may also ask you to open your mobile banking app to verify the balance.

We recommend avoiding applying in New Zealand.

The application fee there is higher than some of our packages, which already include an activity that helps you meet the soft power requirement, and we handle the entire process for you.

Instead, we suggest you travel to Thailand first, then apply from a neighboring country, or use a service like ours to make the process smoother.

If you would like to use our DTV services (we have successfully assisted hundreds of applicants), you can email our team at

or send us a LINE message at

Just to clarify, agents cannot expedite DTV applications submitted outside of neighboring countries.

What we can do is ensure everything is submitted properly, using the correct formats, with all required documents, and tailored to each embassy’s specific expectations. Requirements and review focus can vary from one embassy to another. In some cases, we may be able to reach out to support channels for individual embassies, but this rarely leads to a significant reduction in processing time.

That said, based on our last 20 approved cases for NYC, the average turnaround time for the New York consulate has been around 3 weeks. Some cases took up to 7 weeks, but none exceeded 8.

We recommend confirming that your agent has actually submitted the application by checking the submission date and ensuring they have responded to all embassy emails or requests for additional information.

Based on what we understand, it may be possible to complete it upon arrival. However, if you're unable to do it before your flight, it could lead to unnecessary stress after landing.

Additionally, it's still unclear how airlines will handle this new requirement. There's a chance they may require it to be completed prior to boarding.

Check back on April 28th as it will allow Thailand as an option.

It's on the last step, but they do not actually send any email at the moment.

Instead you can download your confirmation directly from the page.

If someone finds the TDAC process difficult, it may be risky for them to travel without assistance in general.

In the situation you described, they likely used a travel agent, who can now help with the TDAC—something that wasn’t possible before with the TM6, which often caused confusion.

Thankfully, the TDAC can be completed before departure, but the bigger issue may be how such travelers will manage once they arrive, like figuring out how to take a taxi to their hotel.
