What should I include in my visa-related questions for better responses?

We just hit 90,000 members. With this many people, if your visa question cannot be answered, it is probably not the group that is the problem.

Between all of the members, someone has overstayed, missed a 90-day report, forgotten their TM30, shown up with the wrong passport photo, gotten married for a visa, and still figured it out. You are not the first, and you will not be the last.

A reminder though:

Contrary to what you may have been told, there are such things as stupid questions.

People get annoyed when questions are poorly written, missing details, or show no effort.

If you expect a good answer, put a little effort into your post. Tell us your visa type, province, what you are trying to do, and any relevant details.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post emphasizes the importance of clear and detailed questions in a community with over 90,000 members, as vague inquiries are often overlooked. Members are urged to provide specifics such as visa type and location to receive helpful answers. Several comments raise specific visa-related questions, including the ETA for travelers from Germany, the best place to apply for a retirement visa, and whether a TDAC is necessary for an existing multiple-entry retirement visa.

Is The TDAC required if I already have a multiple entry retirement visa that was issued to me while I was in Thailand last November?
Tom ********
Hello, I'm going to seek a retirement visa my next trip in November. I plan to live Chon Buri near Bang Saray. I qualify financially with my monthly pension. Although I can put 800k baht in the bank if needed. My question:

Should I apply here at the Los Angeles, California, USA Consulate or wait until I arrive?

I prefer to use my pension documentation. My criminal and banking records are no concern.

Thanks in advance for your advice.
