you can get a non-O in the US? I thought only the non-OA was available on Thaievisa.com. And do they still do the METV or is only the single entry available now? Seems like read a while back they will reject the ME on your application and give you a SE, but no refund of the difference. I’m in the process of applying on line now, arriving July 26th.
I actually had that same idea last year and Google American Banks in Thailand. The ones like "Chase" are not connected to the American company. I was hoping to just transfer money from Chase bank in the US to Thailand, or even just go into the branch and they could simply pull up my account. No such luck. I really haven't found a legit work around. Just have to do it the difficult way I guess. If you find a better way, please report back.
Wow, 3 days! I was about to do mine 3 weeks in advance and wondered if that was enough time. I may hold off a few more days now. 3 days is really quick! Wonder if they're that efficient in the US?🙂
This is what I was referring to a few days ago Brandon. Kind of a roll of the dice. Too early and you lose days, too late and you leave before it arrives...but at least you have it Ian. How long from when you applied until it was approved? I trying to time mine also. And I guess it doesn't do any good to request a certain date from what you wrote. What about the name change Brandon? Is that a big deal? I've seen other people have issues with that on their flight tix.
Neither of my Firestick would work in Bangkok last year because it was geofenced. Even though I pay for prime, wouldn’t let me access any of the programs. I’ll def use a VPN next time.
Would it still be active or is it a physical thing you keep on you? Or would I just do an exemption when I get to Thailand? I’m in Florida, so I am pretty sure I apply to Wash DC. I can always start the process next week and have a 4 week cushion. I’ve heard of one visa, I think it’s the METV, that the clock starts the day you receive it, not the day of arrival.
