I try one more time. See if my post gets posted. I want to retire to Thailand. Fifty years old plus. I speak zero thai. I am too lazy to do anything. Hence I want a one stop shop all Thai agent help with completing/setting up/hiring:

1) Immigration/TM / 90 days

2) Bank account

3) Apartment rentals

4) Cable/Cell phone

5) Part time cook/ nurse

6) Doctors/ Pharmacy

7) Live in Bangkok

174 replies. prolly only four good ones. The rest being insults…. Some people like me suffer from OCD. Two tours in Aghranistan will do that to you. All i am saying it is good to have most of these requirements 75% settled before moving into a new country thousands of miles away. For example, have five apartments based on my criteria lined up for me so I can select the best suitable one , sign contract and move in the second day. Same with Bank. i suffer from existing medical conditions. Good to set up an appointment in advance with top medical specialist in BKK so i can safely transition to new environment, air quality, diet, etc. Ain’t asking for the moon delivery!

 ok man I get it now. I probably wrote something awful too. My apologies. But here’s the thing. I just read your post again. Do you mind if I share something with you? It would have been good if you had explained a little bit of this. Many people write rather arrogant posts and they end up with unsuitable replies. Yours may have come across not as you intended. And we had no guidance. Now my mother would probably tell me that’s no excuse. But I honestly think it is how it happened. So here is some help. Cell phone. Make sure your phone is unlocked. Go to a True shop in most supermarket malls. Ask for the 200b/ month rate. It s plus 7% VAT tax. $6 a month unlimited internet and phone. There’s a limit then it slows down. It’s a lot. I have no idea how much. The point is you will use WiFi most of the time. I have never been throttled. Anyone who is throttled is too lazy to ask for the password in any restaurant etc. So $6 a month yiu can’t beat that. Well you can 1300b a year from Lazada. But it means a new SIM card and phone number annually. That’s a pain. Agent. Call me. I’m not posting here. Cheers.

When I was a kid my Dad flew the Atlantic every 3 months when no one flew the Atlantic. He’d come back with all kinds of American high tech toys. Remote control car - wire not radio of course. Just go to Bangkok, ask advice from fellow foreigners, google expat visa services and you probably need to split visa services for visa, bank account, DL, etc and real estate agent for accomodations but you'll have better choices by contacting multiple real estate offices.

Are you incapacitated in any way? Most of that stuff is very easy to do on your own.

But anyway...

You may need to go to several different sources for most of that. There is food EVERYWHERE in Thailand, so there is no need to cook or be cooked for. And there is delivery everywhere.

As far as getting a phone, just go to the mall, buy a phone of your choice, and they will set the SIM and everything up for you. There are pharmacies everywhere too. Not sure why you would need to be set up for that. As for Doctors, just go to one of the hospitals (Like Bangkok Hospital) and register.

You say you are lazy. This is something I do not understand.

My my! All of that hate. Thanks for those who replied to me including the Moderator. For the rest, may God forgive you. I was reading a report issued by the Governor of BKK yesterday. He was saying that living in BKK with its air pollution is equivalent to smoking 1,400 cigarettes per year. Today, the US east coast hit 95 F first time this year. People were literally hatin their lives. Then I remembered in BKK, 95F or 35C is considered mild.

There's no "one more time" as you've never submitted a post to this group. This is the first time.

You're not going to find one place that offers everything you've listed.

You can find one agent that can do 1&2 together.

If you're worried about everything else and "too lazy" then find a full-time housekeeper that can help arrange the rest. Though I'm not sure why you would want to trust your health and doctors to a stranger.
