For what length of time? Was hoping to bounce around all over Thailand. Thanks.

what state are you applying from? I’m in Florida and the O-A is an awful lot of hoops to jump through. I finally gave up.

Is this for the O-A? Applying now and thought to get an O you had to be in Thailand, is that correct? I was going for the METV unless you know the f a better choice. Thanks.

I was just getting one for flexibility. I’m gonna stay in Thailand for while, bounce around to nearby countries for a bit, the come back to Thailand. Should I just get a SETV? Thanks for the reply.

what is the difference? I haven't ruled out retirement visa once I arrive, but getting a non o/a in the states is just too many hoops to jump through.

do they still do METV? Seems like I read on here that they don't do ME anymore, they process it as a SETV but you don't get the difference refunded.

you can get a non-O in the US? I thought only the non-OA was available on Thaievisa.com. And do they still do the METV or is only the single entry available now? Seems like read a while back they will reject the ME on your application and give you a SE, but no refund of the difference. I’m in the process of applying on line now, arriving July 26th.

I actually had that same idea last year and Google American Banks in Thailand. The ones like "Chase" are not connected to the American company. I was hoping to just transfer money from Chase bank in the US to Thailand, or even just go into the branch and they could simply pull up my account. No such luck. I really haven't found a legit work around. Just have to do it the difficult way I guess. If you find a better way, please report back.

That would be waaaaay too easy now wouldn't it...🤔🤦🏻‍♂️
