you got that right! Kicked back for an upload being too large or too small. After a second attempt and getting the approval of visa, airport personnel found “another” error but were easily able to fix it $350 USD on the spot.

yes. Being able to pay these taxes while I’m overseas is important and I have to figure out how to do it. For the past couple years post Covid, we do what you do; 6 months in Thailand, 6 months in California. I use TMobile as well for the reason you mention. TMobile is great. I only have my phone while I’m in Thailand; not even a laptop.

I paid 1900 Baht plus the 1900 Baht for the 30 day extension.

We only came in on visa exempt twice (by air)because we too visited other countries within our 30-60 days. We got chastised by immigration and rudely admonished “ next time buy a proper visa”. There were 2 of us. One got bawled out, I was simply stamped in with a smile. Sounds like it all depends on which officer is stamping you in.
