Why would you buy property in Thailand with all the risks, rent its a lot easier and if you don't like where you are move on. No Thai lawyers, no exchange rate issues, no waiting months or years to sell it.

They always say “if you can’t afford the medical insurance you can’t afford the travel”, it is not a legal requirement to have medical insurance when travelling, but you would be a fool not to have it!

We are in Thailand , we tried to get a 60 day visa before we left but to late. Rather than spend the time and money going in and out , find the local immigration department in Thailand and apply for a 30 day extension, which we did last week. Took a couple of hours paid B1900 and there you have it.

Make sure your insurance covers you for motor bikes , ours policy excludes riding motor bikes of any description due to the number of injuries and fatalities of tourists in Thailand.

yep great , everyone to your own , had we had know how bad the beach area was like in Pattaya we should have stayed up about 20 or 30 minutes outside that area which , I’m sure as you say is great. Anyway you enjoy, not for us.

mate we went there for the first time in 15 years of coming to Thailand a week or so ago, for a week. We never went as it was always billed as the sex capital of Thailand and it really lived up to its reputation. We thought all the girlie bars were contained in Walking Street, not so the are all over the beach front and everywhere else. The streets are tacky and the bars seedy, the only redeeming feature is the 168 Indian restaurants .😂😂😂😂
