Do I need to print my Non-O visa approval to show immigration in Thailand?

Just ask your hotel reception to print it for you or go to a print shop

I was gonna buy a printer but discovered there was a printing place across the street from my condo. Would take a whole lot of printing with them to add up to the cost of a printer.

The first thing I am going to buy in Thai when I arrive end of this month will be a printer. The same one I have in Japan, EPSON EP-881AW.

It's likely the instructions from the embassy say to print the visa and hand it over with your passport. For Thailand, you always want everything printed. You probably could get in without it printed, but you would need to make sure the passport control officers understands you have it because there's a risk of you being stamped in incorrectly without it. You'll still need it printed later anyways for your extension and possibly for your bank.
