interesting. Yea I have a WP through teaching as well but do not want a non-b and my (Thai) salary isn’t enough to cover the monthly income for the extension. and last time I went in for address she gave me a hard time bc I have the non-o M based on spouse and she didn’t know that you can have that visa and a WP but the officer next to her did know that and this lady lost face so she got upset with me obviously.

right, that’s what I thought. What about combo for just the monthly income from two countries, USA based and Thai based? No, right? I was told at CR imm. about 5 months ago that could not so that’s why I went and did another multiple entry based on spouse which I’m sure they are going to give me a hard time about again when I go Monday for my address update.

yea most likely. I am in HCMC and applied for my new visa this morning and I believe everything is good for when I pick up tomorrow. Will write a report when I return.

that’s what I thought. I was told several months ago at the CR immigration combo cannot be used. So that’s why I’m on the non-O multiple for spouse which she didn’t like either. Could be just different provincial office? Who knows.

Wait, so you CAN use a combo method for proof of finances for the ext. based on marriage?

yea, I messaged the embassy last week to confirm with them the requirements and their response was 'follow the website'. so I should be all good to go. I will write a report when upon my return to thailand
