Hi guys

I would really appreciate it if you could answer this

If I obtained my non immigrant "O" visa "Thai marriage" outside Thailand, can I do 90 day reporting or do I have to leave the country every 90 days? My first extension will b in March which I will do here in Thailand so I understand from there I can do 90 reporting but unsure what is my situation now.

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether they can perform 90-day reporting on a Non-Immigrant "O" visa for marriage obtained outside Thailand, or if they need to leave the country every 90 days. Comments clarify that the user can do 90-day reporting after their first extension, which is planned for March, but suggests that as long as the visa remains valid, they can alternatively perform border runs every 90 days to reset their stay.

Than you do not have to do 90 days reports, because you are only allowed to be 90 days inside the country. Than you do a border run to activate a new 90 day period and you can keep on doing this till the valid until or enter before date on the visa. If you make a border just before or on that date you have almost 15 months of stay out of this visa.

They charge 500 baht (or a crisp 10USD bill) to stamp you in and out of myanmar.

The Mae Sai - Tachiliek border with Myanmar is the place most people in the north west bounce out and back in to activate another entry on a multi-entry visa

Do you have a Single Entry or a Multiple Entry Visa? It is mentioned on the visa under the text: Nr of Entries with the first letter S or M.
