Just wanted to update on reqs for 1 year marriage extension in Chiang Rai. I went yesterday and received my one month under consideration stamp. - I’ve been on amnesty since June, prior to that 60 day extension when my non-o ME expired.

Application (plus other forms they have you fill out there)

4x6cm visa photo x2

Passport

All visa pages pertaining to your original visa (each page on its own individual copy page)

Tm.6

Marriage certificate

KR 2

Bank letter

Bank book

Bank statements (had issue with updating bank book accurately but the bank printed out full statements proving 400k seasoned 2 months and this sufficed)

Wife ID

wife house book

Children birth certificate (if you have kids)

Children house book entries

Hand drawn map to house

Rental contract

House owner ID card

house owner housebook for rented house

Photo outside with house number

Photo in front of house

Photo in living room

Photo in bedroom (all photos need to be printed on their own individual paper)

2x copies of everything and they did a little interview with my wife and had her fill out a form regarding how we met. We had originals of everything but none were asked for. Every single page was signed and name also written out by myself and some by my wife as well.

Money needs to stay in account during this under consideration period as well.

Hope this can help someone.

Kr 2 is obtained at an amphur office with your wife. It verifies your marriage.

TM 7 is the form you fill out for your extension.

Tm6 is the card that should be stapled into your passport. It’s the arrival/departure card.

The family photos should be about as big as an a4 piece of paper.

I forgot to mention you need two 4x6cm visa photos as well that you attach to the application form

@Broxy ******
yes you need that, but that should’ve already been done in regards to your living arrangements. If not, you’ll need to do it.

Ok so if my wife has her name on condo lease then she has to register me?
