moving houses this coming week here in chiang rai. does anyone know if CR immigration requires me to fill out a tm28 as well as the tm30 from my new house owner to submit, or will it just be the tm30 filled out by house owner, copies of her id and housebook [signed] - copies of my passport page and entry stamp - and a copy of our rental agreement? thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When moving houses in Chiang Rai, you typically need the TM30 completed by your new house owner, alongside their ID and housebook copies, as well as your passport and rental agreement. While it's suggested to inquire directly with immigration, there seems to be a consensus that the TM28 form is utilized for the 90-day reporting process, indicating you might not need to submit it for the address change.

I think you file the TM30 first and then use the TM28 at the 90 day reporting desk when you do your next 90 day report.

OR at least that is what Bangkok has us do.

I'd take what's needed for both and find out when you get there, or call them and ask. Isn't it similar paperwork you need for both?

Ok, so just wait till you get there then. If they say you need TM28 and TM30 they'll give you the forms. They have forms. They like forms :)
