Applying for 1 year marriage extension this week... question.
1- Do I need to make copies of the KR.2 form or can I just give them the two originals I get from the amphur office?
2- two months 400k seasoning is date to date, yea? Meaning my money has been seasoned since July 16, so anytime starting tomorrow, September 16 I can go apply, correct?
Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a one-year marriage extension in Thailand and has questions regarding required document copies and bank balance seasoning rules. Responses indicate it's advisable to provide color copies of marriage documents, keep originals handy, and confirm that the 400k bank requirement is indeed calculated on a date-to-date basis. They also suggest taking your wife to immigration appointments as it may positively impact the application process.
, yes, but it has to be translated into Thai, then officially verified that the translation is correct, then registered at the Amphur/administrative office.
Something else that can make a difference is everytime you go to immigration concerning your marriage extension, take your wife with you. They like to see that, and it can make a difference whether they pay you a visit during the 30 day consideration period, or not.
Every office interprets the regulations differently, so check with your local immigration office. For myself, I'd rather take a dozen copies that aren't needed than end up scrabbling round at the last minute for copies.
You should have gotten two sets of marriage documents. Two of the actual license, and two of the registration certificate. I made color copies of both and gave them the copies, but take one set of the originals with incase they ask for them. Your money has been in there two months. You also have to update your bank book the same morning you apply, so go by that date.
